Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) Systems have been reimbursed by the NHIF in Bulgaria since late 2021. As of February 1st 2023, the NHIF has announced the latest list of approved CGM sensors. It includes a total of 10 models for continuous glucose monitoring. Find below the list of approved CGMs in Bulgaria.

Medtrum TouchCare A7+ (NHIF code WF116) measures the glucose level every 2 minutes and is now calibration free. Medtrum A7+ sensor measures blood sugar 24/7 for a period of up to 14 days. Sensor insertion is quick and easy. The system supports remote monitoring, as well as cloud space for data storage for up to 2 years. Read more.
Medtrum CGM works with the mobile applications EasySense mmol/L (main application) and EasyFollow mmol/L (for remote monitoring), as well as EasyView Pro (web portal for statistics and reports, incl. HbA1c). Read more.
